Sturdy

This is the sort of rack found in grocery stores and it is sturdy.Do not attempt to push dowels in by hand as the fit is tight as it should be.Get a rubber mallet or a hammer with a sock covering it. Place the dowel over the hole and tap gently. Repeat for the other dowel.Get the other side and place dowel over the hole and tap gently. Line up the other hole and tap gently until all dowels have been started. Now you can start tapping firmly to ensure the dowels are in enough and they are even. I did make a video but ended up filming the sky. Very happy with the purchase as it does accommodate thicker plates.

Love these!

My corningware casserole dish lids were a mess and always falling out of the cupboard. These got them straightened out in short order. Inexpensive and work. Thumbs up!

Hammer it in!

Use a soft mallet to tighten it. I had little expectations when opening this product, to my surprise it was perfect and affordable. All you have to do is make sure it’s perfectly sealed in, you’ll be happy with the product
