I love using this to chop garlic. I use lots of garlic, so I like to prep and freeze them ahead of time. This chopper saves me time than chopping by hand. I love that it's so easy to clean and that the blade is sharp. For the size, it fits about a handful of garlic.
I have a LOT of kitchen utensils and gadgets and I try not to buy anything new unless I'm replacing something. However, I found this KUFUNG Electric Mini Garlic Chopper and it has been a great addition to my repetoire!! I have other types of gadgets for garlic, but they usually end up being gimmicky and I end up chopping it by hand with a knife anyway. Things change, and this is a good change - I LOVE this chopper. I have been buying 2-3 heads of garlic at a time, peel the cloves, cut off the tough stems if needed, then I just throw them all into the bowl of the chopper at the same time. Put that magic little button and let it go until you get the consistency you want!! Easy Peasy!!! I then either put it into an air-tight container in the fridge and use it as I need it, or I have frozen it for future use. This makes chopping garlic so much easier, and doing it in bulk saves a lot of time each time you need it. This is a good quality item and a good value for the price - I recommend it!
